With over 25 years of professional sewing experience, Donna began her career by studying Fashion in her hometown of Geelong. She took things a step further by specialising in Italian pattern making with a couturier in the Block Arcade, Melbourne. Over her career Donna has had many admirable endeavours including designing, running and managing her own bridal boutiques.
One of the highlights of her career working as a designer was her involvement in the design department for the Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks’ hit production ‘The Pacific’. went on to impart her experience by lecturing for Melbourne School of Fashion for 12 years. During this time, she mentored students who went on to win the Gown of the Year and Australian Wool Awards.
Ever an ambitious and interested learner, she has also studied Visual Merchandising at Swinburne University to broaden her horizons in terms of design, photography or anything creative.
